North Students Score Big at DECA State Competition

North Students Score Big at DECA State Competition
Akron Public Schools students competed at the DECA State competition in Columbus on March 8th and 9th.
Tapash Bhattarai (Professional Selling Event – 4th Place in Ohio) and Julia Arriaga (Principles of Hospitality & Tourism – 5th Place in Ohio) from North High School qualified to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference. The conference will take place in Anaheim, California, April 26th through May 1st. Their adviser is Mr. Mathews.

Moris Corbitt and Pradesh Mangar (Business Solutions) from North High, Sadie Feagain (Marketing Communications Series Event) from Garfield CLC, Tapash Bhattarai (Professional Selling), Julia Arriaga (Principles of Hospitality & Tourism) and Myasia White (Business Solutions) from North High.
