Hudson Wrestling Tournament Results 2024
The boys took their lumps on Dec. 20 and 21, 2024, at the Hudson Holiday Classic. We only had a few kids make it to the second day and some of them were eliminated a match away from placement (Sura Gurung, Avinash Mongar, Ehluku Soe).
However, our bright spot came from Tao Tak Non. Tao wrestled extremely well in the tournament and made it to the finals. In his Semifinals match he pinned the #2 seed in the 1st period (Tao wasn't seeded in the tournament).
His finals match came down to the final seconds and he just couldn't hold the lead against a very tough opponent from Copley. He lost 15-12 in a very tough and entertaining match.
Coach Reed said he was, "Very proud of the kids and their effort. Tao stepped up big for the Vikings this weekend."
