City Series Track Championship 2023
Our boys' and girls' track team competed in the City Series finals May 13 at Ellet CLC, where it rained pretty much non-stop. That did not keep our athletes from placing in multiple events and representing the Vikings in their usual outstanding fashion. Also, here is a big shout-out to Coach Nicholas Lane for being named APS Track Coach of the Year!
Boys Champions:
- Marvin Causey - 300 Meter Hurdles
Girls Champions:
- Nye'Reonna Kimble - 100 Meter Dash
- Nye'Reonna Kimble - 200 Meter Dash
- Nye'Reonna Kimble - 400 Meter Dash

Also, for those who remember back in August, Viking athlete Sunny Sanouvong was recognized for being
listed as one of the top junior fishermen in Ohio. Well, he is on his way to the top again. He took ninth place at the Mosquito Lake Mayhem tournament to open his season.
