Austintown Girls Tournament
Friday, January 3rd
Our Lady Vikings traveled to Austintown Fitch High School today for their 1st annual women's wrestling tournament.
Our girls had a rough start to the tournament but managed to finish strong.
The girls finished in 10th place as team. There were 34 teams that competed in the tournament.
Our girls are wrestling tough and making progress each time they step on the mat! I am very proud of them and it is blast getting to Coach them week in and week out!
We did have 3 girls make it to the podium.
105- Sanjita Subba took 5th place
120- Kretina Rai took 4th place
235- Anne Ruble took 2nd place
Our girls will be back at against Austintown in a dual meet at North on January 8th. Then they will be competing in the Vantage Lady Vikings Invitational at North on January 11th.
