Another athletic season was put in the books last night and we had a lot of positive moments to recognize. First, big shout outs to
Mrs. Merrell,
Mrs. Lin and
Mrs. E. Campbell who helped with everything from set-up to tear-down and everything in between. The student-athletes also love seeing staff there - especially when they are handing them food! We recognized Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boy Bowling, Girls Bowling, Boys Wrestling and Girls Wrestling. Included below are notes for the All City Academic Recognition and All City Athletic Recognitions as well as special awards. The amount of food wrestlers can put away is legendary - boys or girls. And right now, no one is watching weight so they were free to dig in. Our 120lb was up to almost 123lb before the banquet. I think my personal slogan from now on will be "Never Weigh After the Buffet!"
