On a perfect fall evening under the lights, the boys soccer team completely dominated Ellet 5-0 to capture the City Series title. It only took 2 minutes and 30 seconds for the Vikings to get their first score.
If you were in the crowd you were treated to a display of footwork, discipline, strategy and control by our team. For 90 minutes, the crowd was loud and boisterous, the cow bells were ringing and the energy in the stadium was off the charts. And a shoutout to Ellet facility manager Curt Hume who radioed the announcer so our boys could hear over the loudspeaker, "Congratulations to the North Vikings, the 2021 City Series Champions!"
