
For the first time since 2005, the Viking boys team will compete for a city title. The staff in attendance were treated to a show. It was a loud, fast, physical game. Our guys Did. Not. Quit.
I texted out updates during the game and mistakenly identified Michael Brown as the Viking who tipped in the winning basket with :03 on the clock. There were a lot of Vikings crashing the boards and more than one pair of hands looking to control the tip in. Luther Darisaw, freshman, was actually the one who tipped in the final 2. The Vikings will play Buchtel at Firestone on Saturday at 6:00 for the championship game.
