Akron Makerspace is finally opening its new 10,000-square-foot location in Canal Place (Canal Place Building #9, 540 S. Main St., Suite 951). Akron Makerspace is a workshop open to the community to utilize the tools to build cool things. Come down this Saturday to see the Electronics Lab, Craft Lab, Metal Fabrication Shop, Wood Shop and Weld Lab. Doors open at noon, and ribbon cutting is at 1 p.m. Tickets are free; follow the link below to RSVP and get more information on the Makerspace and the event.
