Exam Schedule and Guidelines

• Exams are for 90 minutes. Students must remain in the class the entire duration of the exam.  This includes the last scheduled exam of each day.

• Students are expected to take exams during the day and time scheduled. Failure to report for an exam will result in a zero for the missed exam.

• Authorization for a make-up exam may only come from the NHS administration. Documentation for verification of the missed exam may be requested for review prior to authorization being granted.   Proper documentation may include verification from a doctor visit and will only be considered in the case of an emergency.

• Exams may NOT be taken at an earlier date than denoted on the posted exam schedule.

• Students may not be in the hall during the exam periods.  No hall passes will be issued during exams.

• Lunch will be offered during your regularly scheduled lunch period each day.

• Students are not permitted on any other APS school property during the scheduled school day.

• Students will still be offered breakfast each morning at the regularly scheduled time and will be released from the cafeteria at 8:10 to report to the first exam period beginning at 8:20.

• Students who have a study hall for the first period of the day do not have to report to school until the 2nd block exam.

• Students who have a study hall for the 4th block of the day do not have to stay for study hall.   They may leave the building after their 3rd period exam is over.

• Authorized make-up exams will ONLY be offered on May 30th. .
